Short Courses

Columbia Engineering is dedicated to creating the best educational experiences for our graduate and undergraduate students. To showcase the breadth and depth of our high quality educational offerings, we are happy to announce the launch of our Short Course Initiative. These short courses are a key component of the resources we are putting in place to support our student and alumni communities.

Since these short courses were created for a virtual audience, we are pleased to invite all of our alumni, near and far, graduate and undergraduate, young and old, to join us for this unique experience.

Columbia Engineering Summer 2020 Short Courses fall into the following 3 categories:

  1. Introductory courses (Fundamental content intended for Engineers from a different field; first or second-year undergraduate students; first semester Master's students).

  2. Advanced courses (Deep dive content intended for Undergraduate seniors; advanced Master’s students; Doctoral students).

  3. Executive Education or Overview courses (High-level content intended for mid to senior level executives; Undergraduate, Master’s or Doctoral students interested in a broad overview of a topic).
